*watches the war come to an end on the tv and then thinks about the events*

Much like my lir's thoughts, on the subject. But why do we fight? Is it because of pride? Ignorance? Fear? I would believe all three contribute to the cause ( Read more... )

I see, but I was talking about wars in general. Do all start for just one reason, or are there underlining causes that use one event to blame it on and set the war off? Perhaps there were differences between Dol Amroth and Rohan before, and used the previous statement as a reason for war?

Never really thought about it. I mean, the majority of both sides are played by similar muns.

We're known for being elf-like, pansyish, and usually sort of schizophrenic. The Rohirrim are bloodthirsty and completely human. Most are kind of butch.

And Dol Amroth WAS part of Rohan, sort of. We belonged to them. The Rohirrim are good at leaving things alone and ignoring them, but most Dol Amrothians seem to specialize in picking at something until it sets them on fire...

It could be their inner consciences causing the problems if they have pups that are fighting each other. My own mun's pups fight between themselves.

Perhaps there is a reason for them being the way they are? And that they think the same of you? Old prejudices that were sparked by one event?

*slaps the mun for the philosophical postings today*
