I went through 9 folks to ask for a movie but all turned me down... What is the chance of that supposing a 50-50 unbiased response? None of them know each other ( Read more... )

hmm... anyway i have been having this thought for a while.
that is hmm... im thinking of asking u out; just for dinner and movie and art gallery if situation allowed.
oh no no, nothing fishy or special going on, i just find that u r one of the more interesting person on my lj who i don't mind meeting. :P

haha... you've clearly identified the fallacy of my pretend-argument. :) If you see the posting again, it bore the ":P" sign which was meant to convey a tongue-in-cheek tone. heheh.. just for fun, I made it sound as though there was an incredible odds. The odds was of course real, but for a different reason as you have correctly guessed in your second paragraph. Please don't mind my occasional crazy ramblings... :D
