The results of the vote mentioned here in early February are in and Douglas is one of the top five (second in fact) and so should be getting a plaque this year ( Read more... )

Yes, well. By the look of it they are going to put the plaque on his house at Duncan Terrace which his family still own. When I do the tour I only point out that we have just gone down the road where Douglas used to live after we have done so. Having a plaque on the side will make it a bit more obvious.
