Suddenly I couldn't post pictures, and I could only access six userpics. I thought my computer was broken.

Slowly the light dawned. I have been downgraded to a basic account. My paid year must have ended. Do you THINK they could have gotten in touch with me for an update?!?!?!

I'm so pissed right now I hardly feel like paying for another year.*

I think I got two email warnings, a month and two weeks in advance, or maybe a month and a week in advance. Then the day my account down-graded, I got another email telling me that they'd done so.

Check your spam folder and see if there's anything in there about your LiveJournal account. I know I'd never think to look there for anything from LJ admin, but sometimes it happens.

I checked my email - they sent me a message after my account had been terminated. I checked my tradh to see if some warning had been given prior to that, but there was nothing.

I have paid, but I am still annoyed - I sent them a comment too.

Oh my god. Like everyone else here, I got an email notice before my account expired. In fact, I think I got two before I actually did something about it. Hope you get it sorted soon. I like all your icons.

Actually, I found out that that was the problem. The card I had it on was lost and replaced. Thry should have givn me a bit of notice, I thought, before whacking me off the page!
