Through the years over has a few pets, either my own or my family's. I'm not sure I'll remember an exhaustive list

I'm assuming Patches was a cat and not a car, but it's amusing me terribly to read it that way for now.

I also had a Great Dane named Duke when I was a baby. I think I was less than 1 when we moved away from him, so I have only stories of him; no actual memories.

In my life, I've had numerous dogs and cats, two gerbils, two (and then 4) lovebirds, turtles (which my sister and I lost while they were "racing"), 2 rabbits, fish, a scorpion, and ferrets. In elementary school I also had a menagerie of wild animals (mostly turtles and abandoned baby birds) that I kept for short perionds of time.
