Random Toph Cosplay
So, what happens when you suddenly give Nash two days off and leave her alone with access to Joanne Fabrics’ clearance bolts?
Apparently, spontaneous, not completely accurate Toph cosplay happens.
No, you will not see photos of me in it. I’m a ‘plus size’ cosplayer, and while I’ll still cosplay, I know better than to put photos of it on the internet.
The bangs need work, and I need to add studs to her belt, none of the seams are actually ‘finished,’ and I want to make a fake rock with speakers in it for a prop… but, well, it’s not intended to be anywhere near competition quality, just some derpy clothes to go to an anime con in. I’m seriously starting to think that deciding to give up competitive costuming was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a while. It’s so freeing to be able to make mistakes and just move on!
So, at the end of the day, while I’ll add a couple of touches, it’s good enough, and now I can spend my time focusing on more monstery endeavors. I wanna work on a new werewolf head, and a body suit, and leather armor and… oh man, so much to make. XD
