I recently had great discussions about gender in Germany. My friend E and I agreed that even a lot of "progressive" German men are really not, and that many German women are "brainwashed" in not seeing Gender inequality as a problem anymore. But seriously, I think it´s getting worse with Gender inequality in Germany. Have a look at these (german) articles:

My private statistic: Three out of twelve (female)friends of mine - (between 29 and 36) with children work more than 1-2 days a week. One is a single mum, and two have an unemployed boyfriend.
