I get that kinda thing allllll the time. Actually, when I look at my reviews, I find it a little depressing - the ones that I have are from friends - people I send it to with the instructions to read it for whatever the reason..most of them come from one person, who reads EVERYTHING I write because she usually helps me out with the content (seriously - she's great - I'll send her an idea, she'll send it back with her comments/suggestions, then I'll send it back with my comments/further ideas and so on and so forth - the final product is one HUGE cunk of almost incoherent colorful text..)

So I feel for ya, and I'll go read yours so long as it holds my attention (which may be hard to do cuz I'm a lil tired, but..shoul be ok :D)

Feel free to read mine :D I know it sucks and needs A LOT of editing, but I'm very open to suggestions on how to make things better and stuff (to the point that one friend copied/p[asted the entire doccument and e-mailed it to me with editing suggestions, lol)Reply

Oh, and if you read "The World Within The World,", just so you know, it's gonna change a fair amount. I seem to be writing that one backwards - that's the final part, NaNo 06 was the part that comes before that, and NaNo 07 is going to be the part that comes before NaNo 06, LOL

So because I wrote TWWTW first, stuff changed in NaNo 06, and I haven't gone and changed it up in TWWTW yet. Just little things like descriptions and stuff, but...yeah.

I don't think the writing's bad, but I will say that reviews that used to be so popular to give and get only three years ago (remember long posts about how to review? I do!) it's just that people are getting lazier about doing it. Hell, in the six months my books have been at borders and amazon and such I only have ONE review. Depressin' it is...

If it makes you feel better, I have stories with over 600 hits and no reviews on ff.net. I think reviewing just isn't very popular anymore on those sites.

Elizabeth Anne Ensley--forgive me! I launch right into the review and everything, but I'm a bit scattered right now, too. o0;;

Maybe we should have a fictionpress_coffeehouse here, on LJ? o0;;
