I feel that my LJ posts are going to shrink more and more as my depression kinda goes away. I guess it served its purpose pretty well. Not that I’m going to stop posting or anything ( Read more... )

Thanks, man. To start off:

I thought third season was largely horrible, mostly because I hated Lisa and what her presence caused Nate to become.

Fourth season started out slow to the point of being utterly horrible, but the last three or four episodes have been GREAT, with the exception of the ham-handed lipstick lesbian crap with Mena Suvari's character. Note: I say this as a red-blooded straight man, I wanted the Mena Suvari/Lauren Ambrose making out stuff to GO AWAY. This should tell you what horrible storytelling it was.

I'm also -very- disappointed that Claire is becoming more like Nate in terms of selfishness and self-absorbedness. I'm also wondering when the "batshit crazy" David stuff is going to stop, but at least it's interesting. He bit that dude's earring off! MOTHERFUCKER!

I started watching the show half way through the third season, so I was a pretty big fan of it. I liked Lisa a lot, but thats probably because I didn't really have a feel for Brenda and Nate's history. I've since seen the first season on DVD, masterful storytelling that ( ... )
