Ten years ago, a shot-in-the-dark job application landed me in the companionship of a whole horde of truly awesome people who have been kind and good to me. When I think now of all the people I met then, and all the people I've met since because of it... I'm amazed at how huge the effect has been on my life. The community has changed over the years, but the threads woven into my life help make me strong.
