Well, that was the perfect post to revisit. The last one, I mean.
That disruption was for the better, honestly.
Transitioning back to what's normal has been hard.
Tapping this post out with my thumbs isn't the same as typing them somewhere. I can deal with it for now at least.

What I can do.
This was the year of thinking I could do everything and anything.
The cold day in Hampden, that glass of gin and some woman in a plaid jacket.
Dancing backward.
Walking uphill for miles and miles, hating everything.
And then falling in love.
I need to address it all somehow. I don't really have a computer anymore and I don't write well by hand ( Read more... ) -

Beginning of the second month: Churchville, Maryland.
It was two months ago that I stumbled back from here, to NJ, and decided that I wanted a fresh start; not the bullshit fresh start that I dreamed of every morning I walked into work or when I drove past the Joint Engineering Command or drifted off the sleep at night.
