Why is it that the hardest things to learn in life are the most valuable lessons?

I wish I had been a little more responsible. Not to say that I didn't get some things right, I could be worse off, but I fucked up some of the best opportunities of my lifetime. Now is one of those times when I want to hit rewind and do some things over again.

I hope I dream tonight. I hope I don't remember much and let my imagination fill in the blanks when I try to recount the adventures in my sleep.
