Sunday we spent the day at Bedford Quarts Sprint Regatta (is a 600m side by side race), where Patrick had been entered in a double scull with a Junior girl (Alexa) and a single scull.

Patrick had high hopes for the double, as with Alexa’s neat steering and Patrick’s power it should make a good combination. However he was not even remotely confident ( Read more... )

So I’m finally getting around to doing a proper update about this.

It was totally amazing.

I left London on the 4th, flying out from Heathrow. Patrick’s Dad saw me off at the airport. I was lucky on the flight there, the plane was half full, and I had a whole row to myself! Bonus!
