I GOT INTO NOTRE DAME!!! Woohoo! I am so excited!

I also found out today that I got into Santa Clara and NC State!

I got my first acceptance letter on Saturday. From Tulane. Which means... I am going to college! Woohoo! I don't know if I'll end up going there but at least I have an option.

Last night was the Heisman banquet. It was a bit long, but it was good. I got my named called and got a medal and stuff, and I got free food!

I turn 18 tomorrow!

My weekend was great! Thursday night I went with Steph, Lauren, and Kristin to Woods of Terror, which was fun (except for the stampede).Then Friday my mom and I drove to Williamsburg and looked at William and Mary on Saturday. I really liked it. :-) Then Sunday I had to work ( Read more... )

I have been way too busy and way too stressed out lately. I will be very glad when this year is over. Or at least all these applications are done with. I have a scholarship due Friday. Then the Morehead and the Heisman are due Monday, and I still have to write a bunch of essays for those. I have another scholarship due Oct 15 and then my Notre Dame ( Read more... )

My sister left this morning for California. She is going to UC Berkeley for grad school. My mom went with her to help her look for an apartment. I wish I could go. Boston was great! I love it there. I looked at about 10 different colleges while I was there. And looking at all of them gave me a lot more understanding of exactly what I am and am not looking for in a college. So, the trip was definately worth it. I ruled out several schools and added a few more to my list. And it feels pretty good to finally ( Read more... )
