This is how it's going for me (supernova, in general): It's actually past 100k, and at around 108k...
My Supernova is (fill in the blank however you'd like): ...but only about halfway done.
I'm super excited for the new year because: Okay, I'm probably not going to finish this supernova until summer, but it's gotten me back into writing other things (if only to procrastinate on the supernova)
One place in the world I'd like to visit is: New York City
Is there anything the community can do to help you along?: Not at the moment. The biggest reason I'm not going to be able to finish my supernova is because of Real Life getting in the way.

I'm not sure if I'd say I'm dropping out/dropped out, because my fic is 100k, and I've written over 50k of during the actual supernova - the only thing is that I probably won't actually finish the story within supernova time constraints (and when I do I plan to post it in parts/chapters).

We're working on some contingency plans for varying situations and we'll take your progress into account.

I just thought of something this comm might be able to help me with.

My Supernova is a novelization of the partially completely scripts I wrote for ScriptFrenzy 2011. It started life as a 13-episode mini-series and part of what's been helping me develop and write the story has been what's (basically) a soundtrack for each episode and almost each character.

Sooo...my question to the comm: Does anyone know of any LJ communities where I could post a request for an artist to make cover(s) for the fanmixes I'm going to create for my fic? I'm looking for somebody who could create one or two covers for me, using my cast list.

I have plans for at least 15 fanmixes (may be less; may be slightly more although I doubt it), and I can figure out a way to do the music piece of it. But I'm sadly graphically challenged and so far my searching techniques haven't turned anything up that seems suitable to use to look for an artist. :(

Does anybody have any ideas??

That sounds like a really cool idea.

I'm not sure what fandom you are writing for, but maybe check to see if there is a newsletter where you can pm the runner and make a request? Or if there's not a newsletter, if there is a general community for the fandom?

That would be a great suggestion, except I'm writing an original fic. :(

On the other hand, there may be communities for the actors that might work...so thank you for giving me the idea! :D

br />This is how it's going for me (supernova, in general): I haven't written anything new since last Nov, mostly because I signed up for 4 other big bangs and out of those I only finished 2. Also I had a sudden lack of intrest in the fandom my story was based in, luckily I've begun to become intrested in it again, so- yea!

My Supernova is (fill in the blank however you'd like): 18767 - I had to delete a lot of it because I didn't like how it was going. :(

Is there anything the community can do to help you along?: I really wish that there was someting, but other then being the awesome cheering writers and readers that you all are I can't really think of anything. I hope that a inspirational moment will hit me and I can write like 50000 words in one go but...we'll see.
