I sat on the edge of the bed and started unbuttoning my shirt. I loosened my tie and untied it, suddenly glancing back at a soft rattling. I looked up from the tray of tea that was brought up by the attractive young man who set it down.
He smiled softly and crawled on the bed behind me, then put his arms around me and helped undo the rest of my buttons. Once he was done, he slipped the plain white shirt off, lightly feeling over my arms, and wrapped his arms around me, before kissing along my neck softly.
I smiled a bit to myself and closed my eyes, simply enjoying the loving attention. “I’m sorry about earlier,” I said softly.
“Hm? Oh, don’t worry about it,” the other replied, resuming his gentle action.
I sighed softly and tiled my head some, continuing the conversation, “Maybe we should use some of our vacation time. Perhaps, we should venture out the country like you’ve always wanted.”
The brunette paused and blinked a bit at me. “Honto? You really mean it?”
I nodded a bit and turned around enough to see the other, taking his hand in mine. “I really think we deserve the break and it’d be nice to have some romantic time. Don’t you agree, Toshiya?” I asked, staring into his eyes with a warm smile.
The younger man beamed and immediately pounced me.
It was the next day and I just stepped out the last meeting for the day. I walked toward my office and was soon joined by my lovely secretary. He handed me my mug of coffee and began talking, “I took care of all the copies and sent them out to everyone, I confirmed that all our packages have been shipped to their proper destinations, and sent a memo to our boss about our romantic getaway that I’m very much looking forward to.”
“Ah,” I said, taking a small sip, “thank you, Toshiya-san. You’ve been a very busy man.”
He laughed lightly and replied, “But not as busy as you, Asagi-san.”
I smiled a little at him and handed the mug back. “Let’s take an early lunch.”
Toshiya nodded and accepted the mug, continuing to walk beside me.
I glanced down at my hands and made a little face at the ink smudges on my skin. “Anou…I’ll meet you downstairs. I need to wash up,” I said, showing an ink stained hand to the other.
He nodded again and we parted ways. I looked at my hands occasionally as I headed toward the bathroom. I pushed open the door and paused halfway, hearing a soft sniffling noise. Quirking a brow in curiosity, I quietly entered and looked around.
I continued further down the room, following the soft noise, and paused at the last stall. I took a short, soft breath and pushed the stall’s door open, revealing a sobbing brunette.
“Karyu-san…” I said softly.
