Crafty types: what's an appropriate adhesive for mulberry paper? Neither glue nor photo corners nor anything else seems to work. Do I just need to sew it ( Read more... )

I recommend fluid matte medium or almost any kind of gel medium (preferably manufactured by Golden).

gel medium will certainly do it, but if you want something that won't go through the paper, hermafix will do it to. (i swear i use permanent herma dots to stick like 90% of everything...it's an affliction.) the trick is to NOT roll the applicator over the mulberry paper -- the feathery bits will just stick to the herma roller and it'll end in a mess or tears or both. have faith! stick the herma to the receiving surface, then press on your mulberry. ta-da.

For thin mulberry paper, I use the vellum tape by 3M meant for vellum. For thicker mulberry, I usually just use 3M double-sided tape.
