So Dylan didn't have his full morning nap which made him a bit of a crankypants this afternoon. Now he is sleeping in the car and I am parked in the driveway just hanging out. Being a mom means getting really excited about all the baby's little accomplishments and milestones that no one else gives a shit about. Why am I so congested? My sinuses are torturing me. I can't breathe and my ears feel like they are stuffed with cotton. So I'm up and the baby isn't even crying right now. the long weekend in a nutshell
Thursday: We get word that Ben and Nick's (a bar in Oakland) just tapped a keg of the very rare Pliny the Younger. We drop everything and go. Matt enjoys this deluxe beer and I am designated driver to the movies. We have too many cups in our house, but I'm a little bit too excited that this memo dinnerware is on sale. The penmanship paper and graph paper glasses are just $2! The only glasses we have right now for everyday use are pint glasses, and I think we need something a bit more nerdy in our cabinet. -
