The sad thing is that's probably true. Really love this fic because it captures Matt's struggle so easily. Shows how truly loyal Matt is even though Mello's not the best of Friends at all.

Thank you, I'm so glad you like it! I tried to actually show Matt for who he is (in my mind...since...there's not much canon to him at all) contrasted with how others see him. :3 And, seriously, thank you.
