Alright, you bloody swine, first to provide me with a proper ship fit to sail will be rewarded handsomely. I've been too long in this fetid port and you bore me. It's sickening ( Read more... )

Sands was up early in the morning, having recently blackmailed a man.. and his wife.. neither of them realizing he was blackmailing the other one, threatening to out the same secret to them both. It was a prosperous two hours and he came home before Jack woke up.
Having no idea the annoyance that's waiting for him in the other room Sands lays in bed in his usual state of shirtless and ball scratching that men enjoy. He smokes, ashing into the cup at his side as he tries to study his braille book. He's been learning in his time away from Poly. Now that he's back here and without a teacher things are going slower.

"Sheldon, we need a larger living space. ... And is there no one here to prepare us breakfast?"

His speech is clearer than usual, but he sounds as slow and drunk as ever, if not more. Jack wears his breeches, stalkings and shirt, tying his cravat as he speaks. He's more pale, clean shaven, and much more thin and sickly. Not that Sands would notice.

Sands isn't paying that much attention. Jack is background noise as he tries to study. His voice is distracted, tuning out everything but the important words. He's accustomed to living with temporary girlfriends.
"I'll call room service to send a bigger room... right on that..."

Sands takes another drag and stays put.

"I won't live on another man's couch any longer. Are you listening to me?!'

Jack huffs with annoyance and crosses the room to sit on the bed next to Sands. He sits next to and against him, pushing the book down to demand the other man's attention.

"I'm thoroughly bored with this place, and more so with our tiny accommodations."
