I love how kid!Jim, who had been so worried about not being as much of a hero as nu!Jim,immediately ran right into the most dangerous part of the ship so as to help in the fight.

it's an interesting idea - and I've really run with it! Got an whole AU where the Surak Vulcans left their homeworld to be all logical and ended up on the planet that's Pern and then humans crash landed and go integrated etc etc.
too bad Jim is associated with gold - lol but I've worked my way around that too
