And if they're all really that close together, little Spock is going to greet his father with "Commodore Winona Kirk of the United Federation of Planets, Starfleet, dammit!" (heh I love that line) standing over their shoulders and asking what the hell the Vulcans think they are doing... whether they approve or disapprove of young Spocks' bonding. She just wants to know what the hell is going on. *grins* :D I'm almost sorry that it's almost over. Are you planning a sequel?

But YES, there is a sequel set a few years later in this AU, which I'm attempting to write for the STBIGBANG. Is exhausting. Has Spock graduated from Starfleet and Kirk as a third year cadet, about to finish, and involves space pirates.

I'll see it through - honestly, I had blocked out the last parts with my beta already, so it was ready to be written... but as you can see, RL can really take it out of you. Thanks for letting me know you are waiting though, lol I feel quite compelled by the multiple comments for me to finish it
