Well, I finally managed to get train tickets booked, so I'll be off to Whitby with Karla at the end of the August (assuming nothing major happens in between). Only for a few nights but probably easier to find a room than the end of October; plus, not able to get the time off work because too many other porters had already booked the week off.

So I've been waiting for my new card to show up so i can actually use the money i've been payed, only it's yet to show up and I'm stuck in shaw with no social life and growing increasingly fed up with the place.

So I wrote a new short story this week, and put it up on my DeviantArt account.

Guess what I've been cooking tonight :)

Well, i've got my current (pressing) money problem solved (or at least will do shortly). Sadly my overal position isn't any better, but small steps.

Sadly, this means alot less money for spending in Florida (in the region of $150 less, give or take), which sucks.

So tonight I tried to re-draft a poem for uni. and after 6 attempts and 1 almost total re-write, I still wasn't happy with the results.

So I'm a little annoyed with myself. I've never strugg;ed to re-draft a poem before.
