Morgan slumped against the front door of her parent's home, a deluge of emotion finally hitting her. What she had done, finally hitting her. What she now had to do--it all seemed like too much. Her head spun, and she groped for the doorknob, but it seemed to be missing. The streetlights winked down at her like angels in the foggy, never-dark suburban sky, but none came to her rescue. She could hear voices inside, talking, laughing. They didn't know, and they wouldn't understand even if she told them. Her fingers finally clutched the doorknob and, with a twist of a numbing wrist, she fell through the door and into her family's living room
