I had a really hard time with this one. I started, stopped, and killed it three times. I'm still not 100% satisfied with it but it'll do for tonight.

It kinda makes me think of that episode too - I'm just glad Rick survived it. That episode of Afterlife still makes me cry like a little bitch! I can't take it :(

Thank you! <3 I guess so - she kept poking me to write this. I guess I've been too hard on her and she wanted me to give her a chance to speak.

Honestly, no one knows. She and Rick were having a rough patch when the show started - they'd been fighting a lot and he told Shane that everything he said seemed to make her impatient and pissed off. In the story I wrote, she was just tired of his work, tired of him being late all the time and always on call - just in general being a bitch. I'm biased to Rick though so... *g*
