Today is the last day of summer break for the kiddies here! I can't believe that it has gone so quickly! I think J is excited a little bit, even though if asked he would vehemently deny it. Have you ever just wanted to do something that you know you shouldn't but find yourself trying to justify it anyway? Sometimes its not even the act itself, but the dissolution of one thing making you want something else to fill the void.

Watching the news this morning I saw a clip of a woman Ani Hass, who faced down a black bear defending her cubs. She was out for her morning jog when she realized she was between the mother and her cubs. I was awestruck by the bravery of this woman. Well the kiddies had another day of respite today since there was no school. Of course I didn't realize it until after I had J up and ready to go. It is freaking cold here today. I am not a fan of the cold at all. The only thing it is good for is as an excuse to snuggle up under a blankie (rhi u know the one I'm talking about) and vegging out.
