It is freaking cold here today. I am not a fan of the cold at all. The only thing it is good for is as an excuse to snuggle up under a blankie (rhi u know the one I'm talking about) and vegging out. This can be good for a while but it seems I haven't done much of anything else lately. I need to find motivation or at least my muse so I can be ( Read more... )

The next Stackhouse book doesn't come out til May! That's way too long to wait!

Have you read any of the Harper Connelly Mysteries by Harris?

I know way too long to wait *pouts* but whatta ya gonna do? Suck it up I guess.

Yeah Rhi let me borrow the first 3 of that series a while back. I enjoyed them, but the southern vampire mysteries are still my fav from Harris. I would def read more though (hint hint Rhi if you're reading this lol :-p )

I love Jim!!

My husband and I gave up on the Anita Blake series a while back, but I've heard that the last several books have gotten good again. I think Micah was the last one I read. I didn't love the Hollows books as much as everyone else; I didn't hate them, but I don't feel the need to own them forever. I need to start reading through the Sookie books again - just ordered Season 1 of True Blood on DVD - but now I can't read the books without hearing Anna Paquin's bad accent in my head, and I've only seen part of one episode! I also want to re-read my Betsy the Vampire Queen books and get the ones I'm missing in that series.

I have found myself strangely addicted to the Anita series. DKW I've read several of the Queen Besty series (again courtesy of Rhi) and I enjoyed them. I have noticed that in that series and another book that I read by Davidson (also borrowed from Rhi -Are we seeing a trend here?) that her leading ladies tend to be very spoiled. Is it just me, am I projecting, or has anyone else noticed this?

And thanks so much for the quick tutorial, You know I don't think I tried them either. Here's hoping.

You know, every time I heard a Charlotte Monarchs commercial about how they were on the prowl or whatever, I used to get a mental image of butterflies with fangs and claws and glowing red eyes. Kinda freaky but severely cool. Makes me wish I had artistic talent XD

I haven't! I need to borrow those for sure!

No problem :D You know you have only to ask and I'll help any way I can :D

I hope so I am feeling really fed up and have not seen thnis much snow since way back when

I feel the same, even when we do get snow it usually doesn't last this long.
Note: one of my grandmother's old wive's tales is that when snow sits around like this is that it's waiting on more. Sometimes I really don't like those old sayings.*sighs*
