LOL, gotta watch those squirrels - they're tricksy! *g* I'm a fan of the theory that animals can be infected. the crows and dogs in Resident Evil were a good touch, I always thought. It just sorta makes sense to me.

They sure are, the little rats LMAO.. Yeah it makes sense that animals could be effected by it too. I mean we get there deseases all the time, just look at the bird flu pandemic and so on. And I know my poor cat got my cold a few months ago lol, poor sneezy kitteh..He was miserable.

Oh no! Poor sneezy kitty :( Exactly, particularly carrion eaters and anything that might be tempted to take a bite of one of the corpses. It's gross but they gotta eat too. Even contaminated water should be able to do it, a la Cabin Fever.
