I start my new job at People's Credit Union on Tuesday! I'm very excited.

I must admit I am ready for fall. I am looking forward to bundling up in a coat before going out and coming home to a warm, spiced pumkin scented house. I haven't much to say since the last post. I am still looking for a job. So far I've had an interview with US Bank. I have an interview sometime next week at Shorty's Nursery and there's an open house at WaMu on the 30th. I also applied at Verizon. Naturally, that's where DeeJay wants me to work. It's a little warm. And that's sayin' something coming from me.

I lost my job today. My company's investors pulled all their money and left only enough money to pay all the employees as much money as they legally could and keep the fifteen liquidation stores open for awhile. I've had a good evening. DeeJay, Dace and I went to Red Robin for dinner. Dace behaved better than most of the 10 year olds there. He colored with crayons and ate enough to feed Myanmar. I think my right tonsil is going to explode. Literally. I've never had a tonsil so painful in my life. Talking makes it hurt. Breathing makes it hurt worse. I'd really like it to not be in my body anymore.

A good day at work. I haven't had many of them since we reopened. I knew there would be a certain amount of that: mistakes from the newbies, slow sales from unfamiliar customers, all that jazz.
