R had his 3 year old check up yesterday. He's 36" and 31.5lbs. 10th percentile for height, 50th for weight and 75th for head size. He's got a funky growth curve and he bounces from the 10th percentile to the 25th almost each measurement. The dr. said it's really hard to go by those things since they do just capture a picture of that one day, so

I am totally LOL b/c at DD's 4 year appt the doc had nearly the same conversation with my DD: She answered no to the bike question b/c her bike has a flat tire right now.

Hope all turns out well with the testing.

I'm still so amazed at R's sense of humor, his sister doesn't have anything like it. Basic sarcasm still throws her for a loop. Genetics... what a tricky thing.

The hand x-ray is cool, DD1 loved it. We told her we were taking a special picture of her hand and would get to see what it looked like under her skin--she wanted to know if we could go back another time and see what her foot looked like under the skin, too, lol. It takes like 2 seconds (we just pulled her sleeve, laid her arm down, and voila) Ask the tech to show it to her right away, if they can
