A friend of mine had this anime series: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrow_Emblem:_Hawk_of_the_Grand_Prix on video cassettes in the early 80' and we watched every episode with glee. The "Masked Man" (Lauda) made a life long impression on me. And I still watch F1 today (like literally: I saw the race in Suzuka today. It wasn't bad, but the favorite won which is a bit boring). And I'm a member of f1slash of course. Guess who's looking forward to see Rush? XDDD
Wow, who knew? ;) I have recently discovered that a few people I know actually follow F1, and I was dumbfounded - I mean it's a bunch of cars going round and round and round and round!
