Teremia and I did some knowledge swapping: she taught me to play Pounce - a card game for at least two, and up to about six, players; I taught her to play Spit - a card game for two players only. Friday, Laurie and I cooked up a plan to wander through Golden Gate Park and perhaps aim for the De Young Museum. We waited to hear from Wampus before starting out. Landed in SF just after six in the evening and discovered BART is amazingly efficient! Took the train to North Berkeley, where Teremia picked me up and took me home for a home-cooked meal - a vegetarian lasagne with fresh green salad - heavenly, after hotel food ( Read more... )

I'm embarrassed that I haven't reported back before this.
