One of my favorite tropes.
Erik and Charles are psychically bonded mysteriously and cannot be apart without physical/psychic pain. Erik starts hearing Charles's thoughts/feeling his emotions.

holy shit holy shit, I love how subtly you made the switch from Erik to Charles inside the dream. I had to do a doubletake and go back, to make sure it hadn't been Charles all along, or that there hadn't been an obvious switching point.
