Who is up for a picnic dinner/drinks at Dolores Park this Friday evening preceded possibly by cocktails at Bourbon and Branch?

When's the next Sunday evening everyone's available? Who can host? Potluck/picnic beforehand? Movie?

I hate it when people use reflexive language to assert non-reflexive propositions. For example, "It is what it is."

That one in particular drives me batty!

Today (sometime during this waking period ;-P) I hugged Kenji. The Kenji. Real, live, and in the flesh. Yes, it was every bit as great as you think it would be and then some.

Best thing to happen to me in a long, long time. I feel like a big chunk of me that was missing has been returned.

OMG you guys! I just found my old Mafia playing cards that Paul made me for my birthday way back in Davis. They were tucked away in storage for a few years. I vow never to be parted from them again. Now that I'm surrounded by so many ex-Davisites again, I say GAME ON!

Sometimes I worry that self-sacrificial acts are the only charitable acts I thoroughly respect. I see this as problematic.

Also, I moved out of my parents' place and got a place of my own not far from the 16th Street BART station and also super close to work. It's pretty exciting and I'm finally starting to feel like a San Franciscoan. Score! I'll put my address following this in a friends only entry.
