I am knitting an afghan for my father for Christmas, because he gets cold so easily since his stroke last February. Problem is, I still have 8 more squares to knit, then I have to sew in all the ends (and that is a lot of ends!), sew it together and then add the tassels. I have been working on it since September and I know that I can get it done in ( Read more... )

okay, so this pattern says to pass the next stitch over the last, and i don't understand that because it doesn't say to slip a stitch or anything. help please? here's what the pattern says exactly

I go through phases that I call "binge-knitting" because I won't knit for a couple weeks, then spend 90% of my waking hours making project after project. I wanted to share a few pieces from the past couple months - so warning, there's a lot of pictures under the cut!
