It will be an excuse to go all out for someone. to make them feel special. to make them feel loved.

Who needs an excuse for that? See, what I think Valentines Day does is take all that and make it less special. It's kind of something that is expected. As Ben said it's all about stuff guys should be doing for their girls any way. It's much more special and romantic if you do something like that on a different day, when they're not expecting it.

I agree to a point. but I plan to use every chance I get. rather than saying "who needs an excuse?" I would say, I want to take advantage of every excuse that comes my way. we'll have to chat about this another time in person though.

I wasn't trying to say that you shouldn't do that stuff on Valentine's Day, just that doing it on a non-expected day makes it more fun than just on Valentine's Day. I think we agree, but yeah, we should talk in person.

This is how I feel. Never did like this day.
Because some Catholic guy went and got himself martyred, my beloved feels he needs to do gag-inducing things for me? To which I reply, "No thanks. Lets just rent a movie instead."
I'm romantic, just not in the traditional way.
