well it took its sweet time coming but look at it now.... watched the forecast last night before I went to bed. predicted 5 inches just to the west of us and 3 or so for here. whoopee... I love the stuff! (you know that!) it begins. Yesterday the snow was undescribably beautiful. Perfect weather for me, 28 degrees, sun bright 'way up there and no wind... doesn't happen often on this godforsaken prairie, so I really enjoyed the snow sifting down and sparkling in the sunlight, funny it was so bright and snow lasted most of the morning... perfect balance. well, not maybe a huge storm, but drizzly rain freezing when it hits. Started about an hour ago. I need to go out and get the horses in before they get soaked. Joy and spot have no shelter except to get up next to the building... but they have thick greasy coats and will be fine till it gets light enough out for me to find them and bring them in. We went to Gordyville with other buddy Mary to hawk Ginny' remaining 3 month old puppy from her last litter.
