not to ruin everybody's moment of looking at my fiance's belly.

I am so fucking sick of hearing about Rihanna and Chris Brown. blah blah blah. get over it. he hit her and she got her ass beaten. so what? who cares? there are other women right now getting their ass beaten by their husband or boyfriend.

ugh i know. I really hate it when celebrities whine about their problems when they get paid millions and live the life of luxury...something that I'm insanely jealous of. They don't know what poor is or what it's like to suffer because of it.

Not to mention there's millions of women being abused across the globe, some more grotesque than others. like in afghanistan or africa where some countries preform female circumcisions. And yet you don't hear ANYTHING about that. And don't get me started on female children as young as 8 being forced to marry men that are older than them. like in their 30s and 40s.

It's just so sad. That they'd rather hound celebrities and have people feeling sorry for them instead of people that truly matter. The underrated, overworked, and overstressed little guys like us that should be paid more than a celebrity...

Okay venting done. but THANK you for writing a post like this. seriously.

What are you saying, that just because she's rich it's okay for her to be physically abused? "He hit her and she got her ass beaten. Who cares?" What? It's something that should be best left out of the media, but it wasn't.

There are other women who are being abused by their spouses--and that isn't okay either. Just because she's a celebrity and "doesn't know what poor is" doesn't mean it's suddenly unimportant.

true it is a big deal. my point is the media are making it seem like it is something new and happening overnight.

Ugh. Yeah, it's getting really annoying and I'm tired of hearing about it. If they're going to put her on the news for getting beat like that, they should also show all the other women who get beat. How about the ones that get beat infront of their children?

I'm not saying that her getting beat is not important because she's a celebrity. I just think it's being over dramaticized. A friend of mine worked at a half-way house (Is that what they're called? When they leave home to escape...) and so, I've seen worse than Rihanna. Why arent they on the news?

exactly.

i am not saying she isn't important. I am just saying she is not the only woman who got beaten up like that.

haha, I would agree except I like gossip and drama. Plus she is gorgeous and he is not too bad himself and it's like whoa it happens to wealthy, seemingly happy gorgeous people, too?!
