Illness is a reflective time. The body feels like it's lived a heavy life, a lonely state of (mild) suffering. I've been ill these last few days.
I am soon flying free of Quorum to skyward slopes of blue uncertainty. Best stretch my wingspan fully...

Beautiful day for an AIDS Walk
With only a mild hangover,phramok and I woke and readied for the Walk. Birchwood's berry-cream-cheese coffee cake and coffee filled me up.
Now, after those 10 kilometers are behind us, I'm riding the rail. Sore, but contented. The bright, clear sky and the cheering, tooting volunteers made a pleasant time of it. And a little boy sold me a quarter's worth ( Read more... ) -
Clotted cream will be the end of me
I'm the proud owner of three (3) security stamps on my boarding pass. Each a different color, from a different lumpy guard. For two of them I bore a 6 oz jar of hard-to-find clotted cream; that's 3 ounces too many. So I first left the Secure Zone to check the bag, but it now costs $15. "Were the World Mine" paints a lush gaytopia, fantasical and dreamy and with more flowers than "Pink Narcissus." phramok only went on my behalf; he expected sappy homo fluff.
