I'm sad. "Lifetime of remorse." What does that mean?

I'm through hating Hunter. It takes too much energy. The opposite of love is apathy...and I don't care anymore. Dan knows everything there is to know about me and still loves me, so there's no use resenting anyone for anything. Thinking of him still makes me sad though. That bothers me. The man in the cubicle next to me just said, "Weeeelllll...goofy, goofy gum-drops." This man talks to his computer quite often.
