Lately Maccas has been giving me shit all shifts for no reason in particular so I've been wondering if maybe I should look for work somewhere else. I've only been at Maccas for 2 and a half months, the pay is alright, and the conditions are bearable (except for when the manager gets pissed off, then you just duck and cover and hope she doesnt see ( Read more... )

Ask for more shifts. And putting "I worked at Maccas for 2.5 months" doesn't look terribly good on your resume. And you also won't get a great reference from your manager in such a short space of time.

The best thing we steal from maccas is the food or a happy meal toy. Unless you're quitting, then you steal whole boxes of chocolate, fruit juice, bottled water, anything.

My job sucks too. Man, a bottle shop would be hella awesome. So would a tobacconist. Shit, I don't think you even need to be a certified anything to work at one. I'm gonna go look into that right now.

that'd be sick. you wouldnt need any customer service whatsoever. esp in a tobacconist. cos everything just sells itself...you can be outright rude and people will buy from you.

i work at crazy johns...so i have to act like mary fucking sunshine all day. oh well, atleast the price is right.
