Happy Australia Day, peoples!

Have some pretties from my little corner of the world (and where I spent a few days holidaying last week with my bestie before going back to work this week)

Bruny Island, about a 40 min drive and a ferry trip from home.

Australia/NZ/NSW is on my bucket list, I just gotta win the lottery!

The beach shots are so gorgeous, where are all the peoples?

That is all the peoples!!! And this was peak school holiday season - lol! The place was amazing, and its virtually right on our doorstep. We are so lucky living in Tasmania. Not that my hometown (Sydney) isn't gorgeous too ... but I think that's where all the people went!!

But I'm with you on winning the lottery - way to do all that bucket list stuff! If you ever get to come this way, there's a bed for you here. :)

You will ALWAYS be welcome in our home, my dear. Come over any time you like - the sooner the better! (Or we could try that Easter Island rendezvous you suggested one time!)

Happy Australia Day - a day late. The beach looks gorgeous. I love the composition of your first photo.

My friend's daughter has been studying in Australia and has just returned. When she was boarding the plane, she sent a text saying "see you in 100 hours". Ugh, such a long journey!

Thank you! Bruny is the sort of place where you just can't take a bad photo.

We sure are a long way from pretty much anywhere! I'm thinking your friend's daughter may have been exaggerating a tad, but it is as 23 hour flight to the UK - I've done that enough times not to want to do it again in a hurry!!
