Scotland Hoe!
There were castles:
Crathes, Eileen Donan, Culzean and Inverrary in that order. Eileen Donan is the scene of many a postcard, though usually the tide is high so the castle looks like it's surrounded by water. Inverrary was the setting for the Downton Abbey's trip to Scotland. Crathes had absolutely beautiful gardens.

How do you catch up on six months?
Well I guess you don't really. It has been busy at work at at home. I guess my work life started to spin out of control when my assistant went on maternity leave in April. All was right with curling with GBR and Canada being in the gold medal match in curling, though the colonials came through with the win. Eve Muirhead fought the good fight for the bronze in women's.
