Scotland Hoe!

There were castles:
Crathes, Eileen Donan, Culzean and Inverrary in that order.  Eileen Donan is the scene of many a postcard, though usually the tide is high so the castle looks like it's surrounded by water.  Inverrary was the setting for the Downton Abbey's trip to Scotland. Crathes had absolutely beautiful gardens.

Bonny photos :) Now you have to rewatch the Downton Abbey Scotland epi ;)

Eileen Donan is the scene of one of my holiday snaps. We never visited the castle, but it was high tide when we drove past so I stopped and took a picture. We visited Urquhart Castle, or what is left of it.

Eileen Donan would have been lovely at high tide. WE didn't go in either! That's ok. We did enough castles ;) And yes, I was feeling very DA ish at Inverarry. I missed the best spot for a picture - you had to take it from the road.
