Thanks to everyone who just arrived here for bearing with the journal migration. With a new name, a new resolution: I'd really like to start making shorter, more frequent posts so the things I'm saying are remotely up-to-date. This, however, won't adhere to that, since it's been over a month since I've written anything and I have some catching up
