SHOCKY IS A TERRIBLE PERSON ARE YOU READY FOR TERRIBLE THINGS4x4_of_manlyJuly 2 2010, 16:05:55 UTC
Lighter had finally managed to stumble out of the blazing inferno of a school that was his own hallucination, choking on imaginary smoke. His lumber. He'd forgotten his lumber. It was back in there, burning up.
"Hinawa!"
Wait, no it wasn't. Here it came now! Hopping along after him! With... Flint's... head. Oh no. Obviously this was the same Flint that had weirded him out back in his own dorm. Disguising himself as Lighter's favourite 4x4... The NERVE.
Flint found her, coughing. Did she have a cold? Oh, no, that would be bad. He didn't want her to go to that terrible hospital place. Maybe she just needed some chicken soup.
He approached her and held out his arms. "Hinawa? Hinawa."
Somewhere in the distance he thought he heard a little girl chanting That's all you can saaay that's all you can saaay!
But he paid that no mind. Right now he had to make sure Hinawa was okay.
IF YOU SAY SO4x4_of_manlyJuly 3 2010, 04:08:23 UTC
OH GOD. IT WAS GETTING CLOSER.
Lighter was too out of breath to bother running. Which was weird, because he thought he was usually in pretty good shape. But suddenly he was so tired of running. Had he been running? Maybe the hallways were longer than he thought.
The Flint-Lumber had shed its poor disguise entirely now, and was reaching out to him. Saying... something or another. Lighter wasn't really listening. Maybe he'd been right before. He didn't want to die alone. He didn't want that for either of them.
But this was just... A liiittle too weird. Wasn't it?
"Dammit," he muttered under his breath, very reluctantly stepping into Flint's embrace. "Ain't no time for this, it's all burning up..."

Yes, even that flock of flying toasters.
"Oh, Flint." She said. "It's been so long. I've missed you so."
"Don't talk now." He told her, stroking her hair. "We've got each other, that's all we need."
