Sometimes good things come from bad things.
I'm so very excited because starting this fall I'm going to have the coolest work-study job ever. Portland Impact has a SUN school program at an elementary school really close to my house and I'm going to be teaching a couple after school classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 6, 7, and 8th graders. It's official.
I am now living in NE Portland. With awesome roommates. They compost and recycle and ride bikes and make good food and are wonderful. I am happy.

I feel much like a sapling.
Once again, I must move out of my current home and into the great unknown that is Portland. Just when I was starting to feel comfortable and just when I was beginning to meet wonderful people and make friends, the inevitable change of things has to come and fuck it all up.
