We are moving into Our House on Saturday.
I was expecting mid August, but the sellers called and said they are almost moved and should be in their new house by Friday night.

Now I have to figure out what to do about all these damn cloth diapers I ordered that are on their way to THIS address.

We just signed a huge stack of papers that says we are officially the owners of a house that will keep us in debt until the year 2035.

Hopefully Larry the Fixer Guy won't forget about fixing that pipe tomorrow. I stayed home all day on Friday. No Larry. I want the hole in the closet to get fixed so I don't have to worry about the cats getting closed in under the stairs.

The leak is only from the spigot, so further damage can be avoided by not watering the lawn or washing jeeps. As for now, the den is in disarray, the entertainment center is slightly water damaged and the rest of the shelves that were sitting in the water are all over the place. The Good

They accepted!! They accepted it all; they took our bid, they will pay $2,000 in closing costs and they will also pick up the tab for our home warranty. As long as everything goes smoothly we close on 30 July. Now we have to set up the home inspection, appraisal and do some other stuff that involves mountains of paperwork. Aaaaaand ( Read more... )
