The wind started howling about 5:30 a.m., which mean dogs start stirring...our house is VERY tall and the wind and my bedroom are very together in letting me know that we have a tall house. Much love to you Liz, lost is right, grief is such a process and moves at it's own pace. I can remember that hazy feeling of lost as if it were yesterday. And yet sometimes there is also this amazing sense of vision and clarity you don't have when not in that raw lost place. You really get what matters, and so much more easily see all that doesn't matter. Anyway, holding you in my heart as you work your way thru the loss.

Thanks for your support. I think you have helped me with your writings about your Mom, and what you went thru. Forgiving, understanding, loving...all part of this crazy wonderful life. And yes, I respect and cherish EVERY day. We are so lucky!

Yup--it's a magical state for sure! I've only lived in Utah and Mississippi...but Oregon is truly home.

Oh thank you. I'm SO bad about posting...but laying in bed, with love surrounding (and encumbering, and panting) around you--it's a good place to blog. :) I should do it more often.
I will say that family has been terrific...sometimes we tend to take them for granted, when we should really be thanking our stars they are here for us.

Oh the house cleaning... my Mom is a pack rat too. I shudder for you. Being an adult really sucks at times.

It's uncanny how much they look alike. Maybe they are like that favorite movie of mine...'The Parent Trap'...maybe they really are BROTHERS! :)
We will have to take some pictures next time we are together now that Davy is a little older...Heather??? :)
