a)a movie: me and you and everyone we know. b)a book: extrememly loud & incredibly close by jonathan safran foer c)a recipe: when you make kraft macaroni and cheese don't put any milk in and just use the butter. then add a bunch of real cheese (I like parmasean but whatever you like) and melt it all together. it's really yummy this way unless you like it the watery way. d)a band/or song: andrew bird ("fake palindromes" is good)
a) a movie: Crash b) a book: Kingdom of Fear- Hunter S. Thompson c) a recipe: Peas and cherrie tomatos in risoto rice served cold. Cook the rice with chicken broth d) a band/song: The Coo Coo Bird- Clarence "Tom" Ashley
i saw crash! it was good. at first i thought it was really bad because everyone was just really racist and the story was going no where- but then it turned into a really good movie!
a) a movie: the princess and the warrior (but i haven't seen it in a long time) b) a book: anais nin's diary vol. 1 (although it's a little hard to finish) c) a recipe: unavailable d) a band/song: sun ra's arkestra, song "nuclear war"
a) kill bill 1&2 (i'm so into them right now), or, for a laugh, rent "captain ozone" from the library b) the world almanac - it's full of cool facts and charts and tables and stuff c) tollhouse chocolate chip cookies (yeah, i know that's not creative, but they're good) d) green arrow by yo la tengo or in the middle of nowhere by dusty springfield
i recommend your hott ass calls me. and here: a) l'avventura- it is so weird but somehow so good. b) wicked- its well written and silly. c) make white rice and steam broccoli and then eat the rice with broccoli and dump in chili sauce. its so good and spicy and easy. d) hula la (i think thats what its called) by holopaw- a good summer song.
a) finding forrester - best movie ever b) the english patient by michael ondaatje - but if you'e already seen the movie don't read it, read the namesake by jhumpa lahiri OR choke by chuck palahniuk c) tortilla soup - yummmm d) the brunettes (polyester meets acetate and loopy love are both good songs)
